Three Chinese astronauts landed safely on Earth. This happened on May 29. They came back in a capsule. It landed in Inner Mongolia. The team finished a long mission. They stayed in space for 210 days. This is a new record for China.
The crew had a problem at first. They could not use their own ship. A piece of space trash hit a window. The crack made the ship unsafe. The original crew had to leave early. They used a different ship to return. This left the new team stuck. They could not go home yet.
China acted very fast to help. They launched a new ship quickly. This ship was empty. It had no astronauts on board. It docked with the space station. It waited there as a lifeboat. When the main mission ended, the crew used this empty ship. It carried them back to Earth safely.
