Terms of Service
Welcome to LoopRead. These Terms of Service explain the rules that apply when you access or use our website, apps, reading tools, AI-assisted features, and related services.
1. Scope and Updates
These terms form a binding agreement between you and LoopRead. They apply to your use of our learning platform, content library, assessment tools, vocabulary features, writing tools, and support channels. We may update these terms from time to time, and the revised version becomes effective when posted. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
2. Accounts, Eligibility, and Security
You are responsible for providing accurate registration information, maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, and all activity that occurs through your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, you must notify us promptly. You may not impersonate another person or create accounts for abusive, deceptive, or unlawful purposes.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service. This includes uploading unlawful or infringing material, attempting to interfere with platform operations, bypassing access restrictions, reverse engineering core functionality except where the law clearly permits it, scraping the service at scale without authorization, or using the platform to harass, abuse, or harm others. We may suspend or limit access if we reasonably believe your use creates risk for users, content partners, or the platform.
4. Learning Content and AI Features
LoopRead may provide AI-assisted translations, explanations, quizzes, writing feedback, and other study aids. These outputs are generated automatically and may contain mistakes, omissions, bias, or outdated information. You should use them as learning support rather than as professional, legal, medical, financial, or educational certification advice. Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary for the feature you are using.
5. Your Submissions and Feedback
You retain ownership of text, answers, feedback, and other material you submit. However, you grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, display, reproduce, and transmit that material for the purpose of operating the service, responding to your requests, troubleshooting issues, and improving reliability and safety. Do not submit content you do not have the right to share.
6. Intellectual Property
The platform interface, branding, original software, and the organization of our content and features are owned by LoopRead or our licensors. Articles, books, audio, images, and generated exercises available through the platform may also be protected by copyright or other rights. Unless we clearly state otherwise, you may use platform materials only for your own personal learning and may not redistribute, resell, publish, or commercially exploit them in bulk.
7. Service Changes, Suspension, and Termination
We may add, remove, improve, or discontinue features at any time. We may also suspend access to parts of the service for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or operational reasons. If you materially violate these terms, we may suspend or terminate your account, including where necessary to protect other users or investigate abuse.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided on an "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. While we work hard to keep LoopRead reliable, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect accuracy, or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LoopRead is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Any direct liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the applicable service during the 12 months before the claim, if any.
9. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by applicable law. If a dispute arises, both sides should first try to resolve it through good-faith communication. If that does not work, the dispute may be brought before the court or tribunal with proper jurisdiction under the applicable law.
