Eddie is an old man who works fixing rides at an amusement park called Ruby Pier. On his 83rd birthday, a terrible accident happens, and Eddie dies trying to save a little girl. He wakes up in Heaven, but it's not what he expected. Instead of clouds and angels, he must meet five people who will explain what his life truly meant, showing him that every story is connected.
